Gamla Brut

A non-vintage sparkling wine, this release of Gamla Brut is made mostly from fruit harvested during the 2022 vintage.

The festive 2022 harvest marked our 40th vintage and first since 2019 not under strict coronavirus protocols. A rainy March ensured the start of spring growth with the desired full water profile in the Golan’s beautiful volcanic soils. Though a historic heat wave hit at the end of August, our deep-rooted vineyards were largely unaffected. Our ever-increasing vine resilience and vineyard resolution, as shown by our growing number of vineyard blocks, has led to ever-increasing wine quality. The relatively short 11-week 2022 vintage delivered quality fruit and yields 4% above normal, making for yet another outstanding harvest in the Golan Heights.
