Mount Hermon Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2025 vintage, our third consecutive one in times of conflict, ended in mid-October. The preceding winter was among the driest on record, with only 40% of normal seasonal rainfall. While our harvests typically begin in August, this year it started on July 27, and we completed 57% of harvest by the end of August, an all-time high. After a “historic” heat wave for a third year running, the vines showed no visible damage thanks to our ongoing focus on vineyard resiliency. Though yields were 25% below our long-term average, the fruit’s exceptional quality more than compensated for the reduced quantities. In all, 2025 was another remarkable vintage for Golan Heights Winery.
