2021 was another noteworthy vintage in the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, and our fantastic team once again rose to the challenge. Winter was characterized by average rainfall, with warmer-than-average temperatures in both winter and spring. About a month after starting harvest on August 1, the week spanning late August and early September was our fourth heaviest week ever in our 39 vintages. We completed the harvest in mid-October, capping off a relatively short 11-week season. Our yields, which were a modest 7% below normal, were balanced by very high quality.

All in all, the 2021 vintage saw beautiful results across all of our varieties.
